The board of Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (TW-5483 / SAS) today announced the appointment of Ms. Doris Hsu as the company president, the formerly president Mr. Tom Yao promoted as the vice chairman of the board and deputy CEO of the company at the same announcement, effective February 1st, 2008.

Ms. Doris Hsu had acted as the executive vice president of SAS from 1998~2004 and the CEO and president of Creative Sensor Inc. (TW-8249) from 2004~2007. Mr. Tom Yao acts the president of SAS from 1998.

Ms. Hsu and Mr. Yao have together brought to the company many years of international business experience in solar and semiconductor industry along with successful entrepreneurial and corporate management experience. The board believes that together with Mr. Lu, the Chairman and CEO of SAS, Mr. Yao and Ms. Hsu will be able to make the company to achieve further growth and improvement in the future.
