MOEA’s Joint Award Presentation Ceremony was held at Taipei International Convention Center on September 8th. SAS won the Industry Excellence Award with the project “high quality multi-crystalline silicon substrates development for high efficiency solar cell”. Cell efficiency is verified to be 0.4-0.7% higher when using high efficiency multi-crystalline solar substrate developed by this project. Moreover, the efficiency of the latest multi-crystalline solar substrate cell is extra higher 1% than average, which can be up to 17.5%.
SAS has become a silicon material provider with our large capacity and best quality among domestic solar silicon manufacturers. High efficiency multi-crystalline silicon substrates developed by SAS will not only help our clients produce solar cells with higher efficiency but also enhance the quality of solar cells and further strengthen Taiwan’s competitiveness in solar industry. In the future, SAS will keep focusing on more in R&D aspect to develop various materials in semiconductor, solar and sapphire to customers with our total solution service and strengthen the growth of industry value-chain.
