SAS New Technology Seminar on A+ High-efficency Solar Wafer

SAS recently developed A+ multi-crystalline wafer that can improve cell efficiency. Our A+ multi-crystalline wafer can effectively increase cell efficiency up to 0.6% at customers’ site without changing their processes. The average cell efficiency could reach 16.4~16.5 % by using our A+ multi-crystalline wafers, representing one of the best cell efficiency among current industrial multi-crystalline solar cell productions.

The newly- developed high efficiency SAS’ mono silicon solar wafers also can improve cell efficiency up to 0.2%,the average cell efficiency can be reached as high as 17.8%. 

SAS also developed gallium doped mono silicon wafers. The gallium doped mono silicon wafers can effectively improved the LID (Light Induced Degradation) by various researches. Conventional boron doped mono silicon cells suffer from LID problem in 2~5% power loss. Gallium doped mono silicon wafers almost have no LID effect. They lead to 2~5% power gain compare to conventional boron doped mono silicon wafers.
