Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (SAS) released September results today that the consolidated revenue totaled NT$7.24 billion with an increase of 0.6% YoY, SAS Q323 consolidated revenue totaled NT$19.6 billion with a decrease of 3.53% QoQ, and a decrease of 9.36% YoY. SAS’ accumulated consolidated revenue from January to September totaled NT$60.82 billion with an increase of 0.26% YoY, hitting the record high over the same periods in history!
SAS’ semiconductor subsidiary, GlobalWafers (GWC), also released its September results today that the consolidated revenue reached NT$6.43 billion, with 6.04% YoY; GlobalWafers Q323 consolidated revenue totaled NT$17.4 billion with a decrease of 2.91% QoQ and a decrease of 3.75% YoY. GWC accumulated consolidated revenue from January to September totaled NT$53.9 billion with an increase of 3.83% YoY. Even though the European summer holidays and the Japanese Obon Festival led to a decrease in shipment days, and GWC’s customers continuously made minor adjustments to inventory levels, GWC’s September revenue achieved the second highest in history, and the cumulative consolidated revenue in the first three quarters was the highest over the same periods.
