SAS Maintains Top 5% Ranking among TPEx-Listed Companies for Eleven Consecutive Years
in Taiwan’s Corporate Governance Evaluation

 

 

The results of the 11th (2024) Corporate Governance Evaluation were recently announced, and Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (SAS) has once again been ranked among the top 5% of listed companies on the Taipei Exchange. This marks the eleventh consecutive year the company has received this distinction, demonstrating its long-standing commitment and outstanding performance in board governance, information transparency, shareholder rights protection, and sustainability development promotion.

 

Jointly conducted by the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the Taipei Exchange, the 2024 evaluation covered 977 listed companies. SAS’s continued position among the top-tier performers reflects its efforts to strengthen governance systems and improve governance effectiveness, earning recognition from the capital markets.

  • Enhancing Board Functionality: SAS actively implements corporate governance practices and engages independent external institutions to conduct board performance evaluations, continuously enhancing the efficiency and quality of board operations.
  • RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) Silver Recognition: By regularly reviewing and optimizing our human rights policies and continuously improving the workplace environment, our Yilan site successfully completed the RBA Validated Assessment Program (VAP) and achieving Silver Status. This recognition reflects our strong commitment to employee well-being, human rights protection, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Strong intellectual property management: The company has consistently obtained A level certification under the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS), protecting its innovation outcomes and safeguarding core competitiveness.
  • Recognition for employee care and inclusion: SAS has received “Excellence Award for Promoting Workplace Equality” from the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau for two consecutive years. This award underscores SAS’s active promotion of gender equality and workforce well-being.
  • Continued improvement in global sustainability ratings: In 2024, SAS received an “A- (Leadership Level)” rating in CDP’s Water Security assessment, highlighting its proactive approach to water resource management and climate risk mitigation.

(6488), Actron Technology Corporation (8255), and Advanced Wireless Semiconductor Company (8086) were also ranked in the top 5% of TPEx-listed companies in this year’s evaluation, further demonstrating the group’s exceptional governance capabilities.
