Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (SAS) has been named one of Newsweek’s World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2025, ranking among the 45 global companies in the Technology Hardware category. The annual ranking recognizes companies that demonstrate a high level of trust among customers, employees, and investors. Through large-scale surveys and social media listening analysis, the organizers collected more than 200,000 corporate trust evaluations, ultimately selecting 1,000 leading companies across 23 industries worldwide.
SAS has long upheld its management philosophy of integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and innovation, and is committed to building mutual trust with investors, customers, and employees. The company has been ranked top 5% among all TPEx-listed companies at the Taiwan Corporate Governance Evaluation for eleven consecutive years, and has received dual honors from the Taipei Exchange — the “TPEx Market Capitalization Contribution Award” and the “TPEx Governance Leadership Award.” These recognitions reflect SAS’s robust corporate governance framework and transparent operational practices. With deep roots in both the semiconductor and renewable energy industries, SAS maintains rigorous quality management and drives continuous technological innovation, not only meeting global customer needs but also advancing sustainable development through active promotion of environmental protection and social responsibility. Its P-PERC high-efficiency, high-reliability solar cells and N-TOPCon advanced high-efficiency solar cells were both honored with the 12th “Taiwan Excellent PV Award” by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, demonstrating SAS’s ability to align its product standards with the global solar industry.
At the same time, SAS continues to take concrete actions to promote environmental sustainability. The company has established a Net-Zero Roadmap, pursuing its decarbonization goals through dual strategies of energy-efficiency improvement and renewable-power procurement. In addition to its Zhunan Plant being continuously certified with the Green Factory Label, SAS has implemented wastewater diversion and system optimization measures to separately treat nitric-acid and ammonia-containing wastewater from hydrofluoric-acid wastewater, reducing the load on downstream biological treatment systems. From a strategic perspective, SAS has also established its subsidiary Susen Green Energy Co., Ltd. (SGE) to build a comprehensive renewable-energy platform, providing services that cover green-power development, power sales, energy storage, and energy efficiency solutions. Through the combined strength of technological innovation and sustainable action, SAS is realizing its long-term vision of green manufacturing and net-zero transformation.
SAS is also committed to creating a friendly and inclusive workplace. The company has been recognized for two consecutive years with the “Excellence Award for Promoting Workplace Equality” by the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau. In 2025, SAS’s Yilan Plant successfully completed the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct (COC) and Validated Assessment Program (VAP) systems, earning Silver-Medal certification, ensuring that employee safety, environmental protection, business ethics, and responsible sourcing practices are fully integrated into its operations.
Through continuous excellence in trustworthiness, corporate reputation, and sustainable value creation, SAS once again stood out and received international recognition from Newsweek, earning a place among the World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2025.
