The worsening climate change urges governments around the world to set out policies and regulations to increase the proportion of renewable energy usage in order to reduce carbon emission. More and more companies have committed to 100% renewable electricity, or even “negative carbon emission”. The Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan also sets the goal of reaching 8.75GW cumulative installation by the end of 2021. To cope with the growing demands, SAS will continuously focus on renewable energy as well as actively deploy in innovative green economies such as high-efficiency cells, power plants, operation and maintenance as well as storage solutions. With stable solar business and the outstanding performance of its subsidiary, GlobalWafers, reinforcing the profits, the outlook for SAS is promising.
